After reading ”Beyond Fossil Fools” I found the problems/solutions in the book remarkable, and almost surreal in a way. Being only 16, I’ve only just begun learning about the world’s dilemma with fossil fuels, but with the help of this book I have come to understand that these problems have no simple solution as most would hope they would. The message that I am getting from Mr. Shuster is that with everyone making one small step towards the use of renewable energy we, as a nation can become energy independent by 2040. Shuster seems to have a strong and certain understanding of how to go about these world-wide affairs with sensible and environmental friendly solutions. I loved this book and I think that for many others, reading what he has to say will be a relief from what they’ve been seeing and hearing these past few years!
